What your software and each clinic need before they claim or use the AIR in production
Check both lists before you move from the test host to production. A clinic that uses only Patient Verification and Eligibility Check needs none of the clinic steps, as Do I need to do anything? sets out.
Your software
- Send production requests with your API Key. Each key works only on its own host. Keys, Minor ID and environments gives both hosts and both keys.
- Store each
correlationIdwith its claim before you send the claim. Correlation ID gives the format, and the cases where you reuse one. - Set your client timeout above 100 seconds. When a claim gets no response gives the reason, and the steps for a claim that times out.
- Send no more than one bulk bill claim per second, and no more than one patient claim per second. Availability sets out the rule.
- Show each Services Australia message exactly as the response supplies it. Messages lists where the messages appear.
- Print the statements Services Australia requires. Printed statements says which statement each patient claim outcome needs, and has the templates.
Each clinic
Each clinic that claims or uses the AIR needs these in place. Minor ID and the HW027 form gives the steps.
- Minor ID issued. RebateRight issues a Minor ID for each clinic location, on request.
- HW027 form submitted. The form registers the clinic’s bank details and links its Minor ID.
- Practitioners linked. Each practitioner’s provider number is linked to the clinic’s Minor ID.
