Which vaccine type values does the AIR accept on an episode?

That is the question this endpoint answers: NIP and OTH.

List the AIR vaccine type values used on encounter episodes (NIP, OTH). Show users the vaccineTypeDescription from this response, rather than the code or a label stored in your software.

Services Australia changed the NIP description from “NIP/Commonwealth” to “NIP” on 1 October 2026. The example below was captured before that date.

Your Minor ID is 3 uppercase letters followed by 5 digits, such as MDE00000. Send the Minor ID exactly as issued. A malformed value returns 400 with the text The Minor ID is not valid. on every endpoint.
